Karen Kranak is with the Angus Group and has experience in the executive recruitment field specializing in Marketing, Human Resources and Operations positions.  She has served on the Boards for the YWCA, Blue Ash Revitalization, League of Women Voters and Leadership Cincinnati.  Currently she serves on the Human Resource Committee and the Career Women of Achievement Nomination Committee for the YWCA. Karen has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Thomas More College. She is one of the SIG leaders of the B2B Shared Interest Group that meets on the second Thursday of the month at DeVry University in Mason.

Josh Hause is a Marketing Analyst at American Modern. American Modern is part of an international insurance group that operates in all lines of business, primary and reinsurance, with more than 38,000 employees at over 50 locations.  Josh recently earned his MBA in Marketing and International Business from Xavier University and current serves on the Marcom Committee for the Cincinnati Chapter.  He is also an active member of the Marketing Research SIG and continues to contributed significantly to marketing and coordination efforts for the Energizing Innovation Conference.

Karen Finley is an eBusiness Manager at xpedx, one of the largest and premier distribution companies in North America.  xpedx distributes a wide variety of print, packaging and facility solutions supplies and equipment to printers, manufacturers, retailers and commercial facilities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  Karen’s primary role is managing the national email marketing program for xpedx.  Prior to joining xpedx, Karen held various Marketing and IT positions at Cinergy (Duke Energy). Karen joined the AMA in 2009 and currently serves on the Membership Committee for the Cincinnati Chapter.  She is also an active member of the B2B Marketing Shared Interest Group.

Kathy Rose is the owner of Rose Research for Results, a firm that specializes in helping clients turn market research data into the actionable insights they need to move forward.  Prior to starting her own company, Kathy worked for Symphony IRI, Mead Johnson Nutritionals, Nielsen, and Kroger.  She joined AMA in early 2009 and is a member of the Market Research committee for the AMA.

Bob Trupp serves as a freelance marketer for a variety of companies, including Tiburon Energy, Kessler Photography, 722 Redemption Funding and others. Bob’s expertise is in communications, email marketing, sales support and social media marketing. Bob has been part of the Cincinnati AMA since 2002 and is a member of the Social Media Committee.

Scott Hasson, Marketing Assistant at a full-service marketing agency, Lohre & Associates, performs a variety of duties. Whether it’s graphic design, public relations, marketing research, advertising, branding, or trade show execution, Scott enthusiastically takes an active role in addressing the unique challenges of every project. Scott recently joined the AMA to offer his talents to the Events, Marketing Research, and Marketing Communications Committees.

Deb Titlebaum was so excited to rejoin the AMA this past summer and get actively involved with the organization.  As newly appointed Manager of PR & Marketing for UC Health, Neuroscience Institute, the AMA has so much to offer.  Deb volunteered for the Professional Development Committee as a way to combine her enthusiasm and experience with 15 years in healthcare marketing.  Hoping to gain new perspective and connections, it was a perfect match.

Siobhan Sheeran joined the Cincinnati AMA in early 2010 and quickly took the initiative to become an active member of both the Marketing Communications/ PR Committee and the Social Media Committee marketing and promoting chapter initiatives and events.

Siobhan is an AMA member “currently in transition.”  She was previously employed as the Market Development Manager for the Consumer Brands division of JohnsonDiversey.

Ben Matthews is a sales professional currently working for NuVision Packaging.  After graduating from the University of Tennessee in May 2009 he came back to Cincinnati to help his family start NuVision Packaging.  Ben enjoys working with his customers to develop unique packaging solutions to improve sustainability while driving revenue.

Ben currently serves on the AMA’s Young Professional /Collegiate committee.

Patrick Hazlewood is a cross-functionally experienced Marketing Manager currently consulting with the  social media start-up Foam Finger Nation where he drives strategy, planning and brand development for a company bridging the gap between dislocated sports fans and the teams they follow.
He is currently a member of New Media Cincinnati, a social media forum. Patrick has been volunteering on the special events committee of the AMA.

Bryan Grainger is the Owner of The Creative Toolbox, a firm focused on strategic communications to promote clients’ businesses through both traditional and digital media channels.  The firm delivers quality strategy, digital, social media and copywriting services to clients in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

At the AMA, Bryan serves both on the Marketing Communications and Professional Development Committees where he assists in the development and promotion of chapter events.  In his spare time, Bryan enjoys training and acting as an assistant instructor in TaeKwonDo year round at the Cincinnati TaeKwonDo Academy and playing ultimate frisbee in the summer.

Michael Loban is a Marketing Officer at InfoTrust, LLC, a digital marketing agency that specializes in social media marketing, PPC, web analytics, web development and social recruiting. Michael conducts dozens of trainings and seminars on various aspects of digital marketing and web analytics. Additionally, over the past year and a half, Michael has delivered free classes to over a thousand people in transition helping them utilize social media and online tools in their job search. His free monthly classes at Great Oaks and Symmes Township Library are open to all people in transition, and are always booked well in advance.

Michael is a Chair of the Social Media Committee at the AMA. Whether promoting Chapter initiatives, marketing new events, sharing information, spreading the word about the organization or connecting with other groups, this committee is always trying to take advantage of the new social media tools. In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing tennis, and prepares for his second Flying Pig marathon.

Caroline Parish is Director of Business Development for BI – The Business Improvement Company.  BI is a 60-year-old performance improvement company with 23 field offices. BI helps their Fortune 1,000 customers improve results by changing attitudes and behaviors. They use the disciplines of analytics, learning, goal-setting, communications, live marketing, meetings & events, awards, and measurement. These tools can be applied to change the behavior of a Sales or Distribution channel, Employee group or Consumer audience.

Caroline has been volunteering with the Sponsorship Committee to generate new ad revenues for the Membership Directory – and it has been a record year!  Caroline also assisted in the launch of our Sales Leadership SIG.

Susan (Sally) Weekley - Volunteer of the MonthSally Weekley is currently an AMA “member in transition”.  She was previously employed as a senior Marketing Specialist at the Procter & Gamble Company. She delivered outstanding project management results, encompassing a robust variety of projects on two brands:  Pharmacy and NyQuil/ DayQuil; as well as Marketing Specialist for total Personal Health Care.  She was consistently rewarded for her excellence in project management, including the P&G Sector Outstanding Achievement Award; P&G HealthCare Marketing Project Excellence Award; and awarded P&G Stock Recognition Shares for Outstanding Leadership.  Prior to P&G, she was employed as a Professional Technical Recruiter.
Sally volunteers on the Membership Committee and has also volunteered with the Sponsorship Committee to generate record breaking advertising sales for the 2010 AMA Membership Directory.

Mindy Rosen is the Senior Vice President, Communications and Marketing for Downtown Cincinnati Inc. where she drives the strategy, planning and creative development of a range of consumer and corporate marketing communications, collateral and presentations. Before returning to Cincinnati after a 16 year absence, she served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Downtown Center Business Improvement District in Los Angeles, CA, where she developed and managed award winning marketing and communications programs. Prior to that she was Director of Marketing for the Downtown Denver Partnership in Denver, CO.

Mindy earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Miami University.  In addition to serving on the Professional Development Committee with the AMA, Mindy is also a member of the Cincinnati USA Communications Alliance, the HYPE Leadership Council of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the Books by the Banks promotional committee.

His firm’s expertise is getting publicity for clients by convincing third parties – especially the media, both traditional and new – to take notice and talk about his clients’ products. He has worked with a wide variety of businesses including Gorilla Glue, Laura’s Lean Beef, Borden, and many local companies who want to be in the news. Before starting his own company, Mike spent five years in public relations at Northlich.

Mike volunteers on the marketing/communications/PR committee where he coordinates publicity for the chapter, including working with reporters on stories which highlight the work of the Cincinnati AMA and its members. He has been active on the committee for two years and believes there are plenty of good stories and interesting perspectives which the AMA can offer to the media.
