We couldn’t continue to grow and develop as an organization if it weren’t for our dedicated committees. Any AMA member can serve on a committee. Please contact the committee chairperson if you are interested in learning more about a particular committee or fill out the form below with your interests.
The Cincinnati AMA has a vibrant committee of young professionals, professors and college students that engage and energize college students and young professionals in marketing. The committee plans and hosts events each month at fun and interesting locations and helps collegiate/YP professionals network for job opportunities.
The MarCom committee is responsible for all Cincinnati AMA event marketing, press releases, public relations, advertising, social media, website, logo and materials design and more.
We can’t grow if we don’t know. This committee develops, tracks, and analyzes the year-end local membership survey as well as the evaluation surveys for all events hosted by the Cincinnati AMA throughout the year. These surveys help the committee better understand our members’ needs and provide actionable insight.

Members are the life-blood of any organization and the Cincinnati AMA has a fantastic membership base, due in part to the activities of the Membership committee. There are SO many great reasons to be a part of the AMA membership committee.
Professional Development (Programming)
This committee continually assesses the professional development needs of the Cincinnati chapter. They find speakers that are experts in marketing and current marketing trends to offer events that keep our chapter and area professionals up-to-date on all things marketing.
Technology & Operations
Technology, including a more robust Cincinnati AMA website, has become an invaluable tool for the AMA to better communicate with its current and prospective members. This committee advises the chapter on its website management tools and enhancements, member management software, member-generated content, email newsletter tools and member interest profiling. It also looks for ways to integrate podcasts, one-to-one marketing, email blasts and e-commerce into the Chapter’s growing list of digital marketing activities.
Members of the committee use social media channels to engage in a conversation with current and perspective members. Whether promoting Chapter initiatives, marketing new events, sharing information, spreading the word about the organization or connecting with other groups, this committee is always trying to take advantage of new social media tools.
This committee connects members with volunteer opportunities of the chapter.
This committee plans and organizes the chapter’s annual Special Events: the Golf Outing (August), the Holiday Party (December), and the Marketer of the Year Awards (May).
We couldn’t offer great programs without the help of our generous sponsors. This committee develops relationships with potential and current sponsors so that each sponsor is matched with the sponsorship options that brings them the ideal visibility and networking opportunities.
There are endless possibilities to get involved in the Cincinnati AMA! It’s easy and fun, and there’s something for everyone. No matter what your interests or talents are, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities from which to choose. YOU pick the committee; YOU decide how much time you can commit. We assist members in finding the committee that best suits their interest.
