The Fuzzy Front End of Innovation
Our presenter, Linda Kerdolff, Sr. Marketing Manager of Siemens PLM Software will facilitate a discussion on the following:
- There is no shortage of ideas in most organizations, but how do you make sure the best ideas, with the greatest potential for success are brought to market?
- How can you sift through the vast amounts of consumer insights that are now generated through social media in addition to the traditional market research and syndicated data sources?
With overwhelming amounts of data available to a marketer, the front-end of the innovation process is increasingly a challenge to manage so that it results in a clear brand and product strategy. Linda Kerdolff will share best practices from the CPG industry for managing the ideation process, supporting the business case, choosing those ideas with the best chance of success, and for avoiding requirements creep.
As Senior Marketing Manager for Siemens, Linda interacts with leading global CPG, food & beverage manufacturers on the new product development process, from idea to shelf. This session for the B2B SIG will include best practices and a brief overview of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology to help manage the innovation process.
We look forward to seeing you.
