Intellectual Property in Advertising: Why You Should Care, What You Should Know

When should I do a trademark search? Or register a trademark? Do I have to register my material to get a copyright in it? What about the web – all of these issues are a little different now, right? Should I look at IP differently? What about those pictures I want to use….of that local celebrity – whose permission do I need?
